Art is out in the streets

The city of Covilhã has definitely become the center of urban art in the Central Portugal region, thanks to the creativity of the Woolfest – Covilhã Art Festival.

This movement pays tribute to Covilhã’s glorious past as one of the most important wool production centers in Portugal, establishing itself as a reference of urban art in the country.

With its regular events, it gradually filled the city walls with colorful paintings that related to the theme of wool, industry and culture of the city, perpetuating its identity mark.

The city of Covilhã will never be the same. Art is out in the streets!
