To begin with, its location, in the centre of Covilhã, is perfect for walking, climbing, skiing, mountain biking or simply discovering the city or, as I also did, taking the opportunity to go to the National Park of the Serra da Estrela. The Sport Hotel Gym + Spa has a self-service area, with varied options, also vegetarian and gluten-free. The atmosphere is calm and the staff was always very helpful, the hotel has a great view and is very clean with a buffet breakfast with many options. There is a large free public car park at the rear of the hotel which makes it very easy for guests to access directly from the hotel on the 7th floor to there (by chance it was even the floor I stayed on). I can’t fail to mention the gym with all the modern and quite new equipment where, although only during the week, group classes are held. I will repeat without a doubt, I can’t say but good things about it. I give them 5 stars

A very nice hotel and a good starting point to get to know the Serra da Estrela. Very friendly staff! Breakfast was very well served and varied. The electric car charging station was a great surprise. Since we didn’t have time to try the spa and gym, we will be back.
